DC Controls
This represents the generator's hard panel interface. A DC field excites the generator to produce voltage. These controls allow the operator to control the generator voltage and VAR production. Automatic voltage is necessary
Lead Lag VAR reading
AC amps Generator Amps Excessive VAR generation can overload the generator capabilities
DC Gen Temp C reads the internal winding temperature
Cooling Water Flow Cools the generator off
Voltage A standard Voltage control switch allows hard panel dupication.
Lower Raise Buttons Some interfaces simply use standard windows buttons to change variables
DC We can shut the DC shut here to prevent the controls from working and reset the lock out relays.
